Metrostav has been active in underground construction since its foundation, best known for building the Prague Metro and, more recently, for tunneling on the D8 motorway. They generally construct road and rail tunnels, metro structures, utility conduits, and adits using NRTM, Drill & Blast, and TBM methods.
