How to get to the hotel
Arrival by car from Brno and Vienna via the D1 highway
Drive on the D1 highway toward the city center. Turn right toward Karlín and Vysočany, and drive for about 5 km. Turn right onto Českomoravská street, heading to the O2 Arena. Drive about 1 km, then turn left onto Freyova street. After about 600 meters, you will see the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague **** on your left side.
Arrival by car from the north (E55)
Drive on the E55, and when you arrive in Prague, turn right at the intersection with Kolbenova Street and continue toward the city center. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague **** in front of you.
By public transportation
The Clarion Congress Hotel is easily reachable by Metro Line B (the yellow line) to Vysočanská station.
Transport from Václav Havel Airport to the Hotel Clarion
1. Public Transport (Most Economical)
This is a very reliable and fast connection, despite involving two transfers.
- Route: 1. Take trolleybus line 59 from the airport to Nádraží Veleslavín (final stop). 2. Transfer to Metro Line A (Green) and travel to Můstek station. 3. Transfer to Metro Line B (Yellow) in the direction of Černý Most and exit at Vysočanská.
- Duration: Approx. 60 minutes.
- Tickets: 40 CZK (90-minute transfer ticket). You can pay via contactless card directly inside the trolleybus or at the yellow machines at the airport.
- Pro Tip: The hotel has a direct entrance from the Vysočanská metro station (follow the “Hotel” signs in the underpass).
2. Airport Express (AE) + Metro (Best with Luggage)
A comfortable option that uses a dedicated airport bus to reach the main train station before switching to the metro.
- Route:
- Take the Airport Express (AE) bus to the Hlavní nádraží (Main Railway Station).
- Transfer to Metro Line C (Red) and go one stop to Florenc.
- Transfer to Metro Line B (Yellow) in the direction of Černý Most and exit at Vysočanská.
- Duration: 65–75 minutes (depending on city traffic).
- Tickets: 100 CZK for the AE bus (purchase from the driver) + a 30 CZK ticket for the metro.
3. Taxi / Uber (Most Comfortable, Door-to-Door)
Uber is the official partner of Prague Airport.
- How to order: Use the Uber app, or visit the digital kiosks/service counters in the Arrivals Hall.
- Price: To the Clarion Congress Hotel (Prague 9), the price is usually between 700 – 950 CZK (approx. €28–38). The price is fixed and guaranteed at the time of booking.
- Duration: 35–50 minutes depending on traffic.
- Meeting Point: Follow the “Taxi” signs. Uber cars wait directly in front of the terminals.
